Our Doggy Policy

In the dog house…

We know your Dog is a very important member of your family. Going on holiday without him often just isn’t an option. Our cosy holiday cottages are designed to be dog friendly and we go out of our way to make dogs feel as welcome as you do.

You will find;dog1

  • Doggie bowls for food and water
  • An area of the garden which is fully fenced and gated
  • Suggestions for local walks with your dog

We make a cover charge of £30 per dog per stay except for registered dogs for the blind, which are of course free of charge.

Doggie Rules

All we ask is that you clean up after your dog – both inside and out and confine furry friends to the ground floor of the cottage.

Please do not leave your lovely dog unsupervised in the cottage for very long, particularly if you know he gets lonely and pines.

The cottages are all in rural areas so please don’t let your dog off-lead when there are sheep/cows nearby.

Cosycotts is pleased to support Hope Rescue (Reg Charity No 1129629). Hope is a unique animal rescue in that they take dogs from the pound as they come to the end of their 7 days to stop these animals from being put to sleep. Hope work mainly with dogs but will help any animals that find themselves in the pound. These animals are then transported to rescue centres or foster homes across the whole of the UK.
