Cressbrook
is
one of the prettiest conservation villages in the Peak District
National Park. There's an excellent choice of pubs and restaurants
in the local area and an abundance of castles, caverns, stately
homes, theme parks and gardens to explore nearby. Many episodes
of Peak Practice have been filmed nearby and it's an excellent
location for walking with the Monsal Trail just minutes away.
It is close to Bakewell, Buxton and Tideswell where shops
specialise in fresh local produce. Chatsworth House and Castleton
caves are about ten minutes drive and Alton Towers is an hour
away.
